About the Everyday Yogini
My name is Nona Jordan, and I am an Everyday Yogini.
I am an entrepreneur, a yoga instructor, a mom and wife, a traveler, and lots of other things. But mostly I’m a seeker, interested in living my life from that deep place of connection with my highest, truest nature.
I’m learning how to heal myself and how to help others heal (which is what I do for a living). This site is not at all about my business – it’s my place to play and explore. If you want to know more about how I help make lives better, you can check it out here.
As I started my business, I found that all of my energy and my inner fire was consumed with starting my business.
That was old stuff, left over from my corporate days. But my brilliant and beautiful body started getting pissed off about all the hours I was spending hunched in front of my computer and brought me back to my original aim — to live a good life, with purpose and to help others along the way.
One day, I was reading a book on ayurveda and I thought to myself,
“What would happen if I really practice what I teach people?”
What would happen if I did yoga, meditated, and coached myself — what if I actually did all the things that I have practiced over the years to be in my body, to live in the present moment? What if I practiced enjoying the moments of my life with intention, grace, and ease?
More happiness, transformation, and a deep ability to cherish myself and my life.
This blog is a resurrection of a site that existed before I started my business, but it feels like a homecoming for me to share my daily thoughts on living intentionally, to come home to myself, to be a good mom, to heal my body, and, to savor this beautiful life.
If you would like to contact me, I would love to hear from you.
Namasté, yoginis.
