Birthday fun

Anyway, I always seem to remember to check my horoscope the week of my birthday, and this year was no exception. I enjoyed reading it this morning, and I always hope that somehow the horoscope on the week of my birthday will set the astrological tone for my year. (Talk about weird suspicions, huh???)
This weekend, Erick is taking me to a little Etruscan town in southern Tuscany for the weekend. I can’t wait to get out of town… it’s our first trip since we arrived in Rome three months ago! We are staying at an agriturismo, a very special accomodation on a traditional, working Italian farm. I can’t wait to report back to you all on how it is!

Happy, happy birthday! Okay, in my friends group we have a birthday tradition. Everyone at the table gets to ask the birthday question one question about the past year and one about the next year. I challenge you to pour yourself a glass of wine (you are in Rome, afterall! :-)), put your feet up, and consider these questions:

I am a new reader and imagine my surprise when I learned that we share the same birthday! Happy 37th from one who turned 39! I also always check my horoscope on my bday each year and feel it portends how the year will go. May we both be richly blessed.
